Care Advice

Natural Vegetable-Tanned Leather

High quality leather certainly deserves quality care and maintenance to lengthen its lifetime. When not in use, store your bag in a dust pouch. To prevent your bag from turning dark too quickly, keep the bag away from direct sunlight. If you feel that the leather is getting dry and stiff, apply a light coat of leather conditioner on the surface and spread it out evenly. Once the conditioner has settled, you can buff it with a soft cloth for a subtle shine. Do read the instructions on the label of the cleaner/conditioner to ensure that they are suitable for use on the various types of leather.

If you feel that the leather surface is getting dirty, clean it with a leather cleaner using a soft cloth or sponge and apply a layer of mink oil on the surface to further protect and condition the leather. Test on a small area of the bag first to ensure that the lotion/cleaner does not leave a permanent stain on the leather. Do read the instructions on the label of the cleaner/conditioner to ensure that they are suitable for use on the various types of leather.
